The ISL London Curriculum provides a rigorous, comprehensive and cohesive learning programme that is designed to meet the academic, social, cultural, physical, mental and spiritual needs of an international student body.
ISL London families come from 52 different countries and speak 21 different languages. Current mother tongue languages include: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian...
Prior to an application, parents are welcome to visit ISL and discuss their children's schooling needs. This can be done by telephoning or e-mailing the Admissions Office to arrange a convenient date and time.
International relocations are an intrinsic part of international schools and impact the education delivered. Terms such as "Global Nomad" or "Third Culture Kids" have been introduced in recent research and publications to reflect the nature of internationally mobile families.
Our Schools are Learning Communities, not only for our students but our faculty as well. Each staff member is actively encouraged to participate in continuing education whether through advanced degrees or participation in education conferences.
The main campus is a 12 minute walk from Acton Town (Piccadilly and District lines) and Gunnersbury Station (District and North London Lines). The closest tube station to the Diploma College is Ealing Common.
The nearest parking for visitors is to be found in the Princes Avenue area. Occasionally there are spaces in the slip road just north of the school.
