G10 trip to Cadiz - Spain

June 27,2017

Having just spent a week in Cadiz in Spain, the Grade 10 students came back with many stories to tell.

These residential language trips are designed to maintain and extend students’ interest in languages.

The trips are packed full of inspiring adventures which will bring out the best in our students. They will build confidence to try challenges in new environments, encourage and strengthen team building and develop essential life skills for the next stage of their learning journey.

On Monday, 19 students and 3 teachers flew to Seville to take a bus to Cádiz.

On Tuesday, students started their lessons in a Spanish school called K2 International. They attended lessons every morning from Tuesday to Thursday.

On Tuesday afternoon, students had flamenco lessons before going to the beach.

On Wednesday afternoon, they visited the archaeological site called Gadir.

On Thursday afternoon, the students played a cultural treasure hunt game before enjoying “chocolate con churros”.

On Friday morning, the group took the bus back to Seville and they arrived in London in the evening. Students and teachers had a lovely time of sharing and enjoying. They are still thinking about next residential trip.
