ISL Surrey offers the best of both worlds: reasonably priced housing with mature gardens and ample recreational facilities yet frequent and fast train service which means London Waterloo is only 25 minutes away. Woking is located in the heart of Surrey with extensive woodlands, the Surrey Hills and the South Downs nearby, providing an excellent environment for a relaxing and active family life.
The historic town traces its origins to Woking Palace, built in 1272, which subsequently became the home of Henry VII's mother. HG Wells wrote War of the Worlds in Woking and set many of the scenes in Horsell, Woking and Pyrford. Woking has direct and fast transport links to London (14 miles), Heathrow (11 miles) and Gatwick (17 miles). Reasonably priced expatriate housing and excellent medical, recreational and retail facilities are available locally.
Relocating across the country or around-the-world can be an exciting time for any family, but the ongoing success of that transition frequently depends on the support and welcome from the new community. Each campus has a vibrant and active parent community to welcome new members and help them settle into the school and into the local area.
We participate actively with the Relocation Community, assisting them in helping their clients adapt to their new communities as well as presenting to Relocation Companies on education issues and serving as a Board Member for the Association of Relocation Professionals. We are members of the ARP, EuRA and Forum for Expatriate Management.
We produce a quarterly Update for the relocation community with information on our schools.
